Amy Davison

Co-author of Mama Bear Apologetics Guide to Sexuality, mom of four, and wife of Michael, Amy is a trained theologian from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and has been teaching cultural apologetics for over five years. She hosts the Mama Bear Apologetics podcast and speaks to parents nationwide on raising faith defenders. Andrea Crum

Ricky Chelette

For almost 30 years, Ricky has spoken around the world to thousands of teens and adults who struggle with their sexuality and gender identity or those who love those who do. Ricky brings vast experience and personal knowledge to this difficult and controversial subject. His logical, humorous, and straightforward approach makes sense of a very complex and often confusing topic. He is the Executive Director of Living Hope and a pastor at First Baptist Arlington. Mary Comm

When her daughter came out as a lesbian, Mary was crushed. Unwilling to condone this sin or reject her daughter, she determined there had to be a better way. She discovered that way through living by the truth of God’s Word and by loving like Jesus. Mary teaches others to do the same through her book, Uncommon Love: God’s Heart for Christian Parents of Gay Kids, and through her ministry of the same name. Will Crum 

If there’s one thing Will is passionate about beyond Jesus and his family, it’s legacy. Will has spent his ministerial career focused on discipling the next generation and equipping families to pass down a legacy of faith. He earned his Masters of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and has served as a youth pastor, family minister, and now leads as the Discipleship and Family Pastor at Immanuel Church in Tennessee. Gale Carter

God placed the call on Gale’s heart in college to begin raising up the next generation of Christian leaders. Her ministry DOLLS, Daughters of the Living Lord and Savior, has been going strong ever since. New Battlefields: How our Culture’s Sex Agenda is Impacting Boys and Girls Differently with Amy Davison

What Every Youth Pastor Wants Parents to Know with Will Crum

Gen Z and Gen Alpha are the generations that will lead the church in the decades to come. Understanding what they are walking through now, will better equip parents to disciple, guide, and care for them well. Our kids are full of promise and passion, and also experience anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, porn and social media addiction, and more. Will has spent his pastoral career in family and student ministry and understands what our kids are facing. He will provide insights and encouragement for raising resilient kids. Critical Theory 101: Understanding the Postmodern Worldview with Andrea Crum

Join us to learn more about the critical theory framework that brought us feminism, today’s sexual ethic, sexual and gender ideology, critical race theory, and even progressive christianity. Andrea believes that the best way to equip our kids to stand firm on their faith is to know the Biblical worldview and the postmodern ideas, namely critical theory, that come against it so our kids can discern the Biblical truth from the cultural lies. In this session, you will get a crash course on how these ideas came to be, the framework they are built on, and how they show up in society differently for our kids to consume.

Understanding Gender & Sexual Identity Formation in Girls with Ricky Chelette

Now that you’ve learned about gender and sexual identity formation for boys, learn about it for girls. With 28% of Gen Z now identifying as LGBTQ+ this is not a conversation we can avoid and our intentionality in this area is pivotal in protecting our kids. Ricky’s talk will encourage you to practically and proactively foster healthy gender formation in your girls. Having spoken to thousands who struggle with their identity, Ricky brings vast experience to this difficult subject.

Praying for Prodigals with Mary Comm

As we spend a couple of days talking about raising Christian kids, we know some parents are hurting because their kids have either left the faith, or there is a strained, or entirely severed, relationship between parent and child. Parenting is not easy and we are not guaranteed the outcomes we hope for. There is hurt, regret, disappointment, discouragement, and frustration on this parenting journey. During this session, we would like to come beside you and pray for healing and restoration for you, your child, and your family.

Q1. My kids have a sports game that Saturday, is it okay if I can’t attend every session?
A. Of course! Come Friday and then soak up as much as you can on Saturday while you’re at the conference and come back when the game is over.

Q2. My spouse can’t attend, can I come alone?
A. Absolutely! Come alone or invite some friends to come with you.

Q3. What do we do if we don’t have a babysitter?
A. Feel free to alternate with your spouse or a friend. Decide in advance what sessions you’ll go to and which sessions your spouse or friend will go to. Then share your notes.

Q4. Will this conference be delivered online?
A. This event is only available live.
